Shipping policy

OVERVIEW
This Shipping Policy explains how I, Frenchie x Femme ("I," "me," "my"), process, ship, and deliver orders placed through my website at frenchiexfemme.com. By placing an order with me, you agree to the terms set out in this Policy. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.
Frenchie x Femme ships within the United States only. I do not currently offer international shipping.
SECTION 1 – ORDER PROCESSING TIME
All Frenchie x Femme products are handmade and made to order. As a result, orders require a processing period before they are ready to ship.
Standard processing time is 5–10 business days from the date of order confirmation. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Processing time is separate from and in addition to shipping transit time.
Rush Order
A Rush Order add-on is available for purchase and can be added to your cart at the time of ordering. Adding this to your order bumps you to the front of the production queue, reducing your processing time to 2–4 business days. The Rush Order add-on applies to processing time only and does not modify or guarantee any shipping transit times. Rush Order fees are non-refundable once production has begun.
If you would like to add a rush to an order that has already been placed, please contact me at frenchiexfemme@gmail.com. I will send you an invoice for the Rush Order add-on fee. Please note that your order will not be moved to the front of the production queue until payment has been received and confirmed.
Processing time may be extended during high-volume periods, limited edition launches, or other circumstances. If your order will be delayed beyond the applicable processing window, I will notify you via the email address provided at checkout.
Custom or special orders may have extended processing times communicated to you at the time of purchase. In all cases, the processing time stated at or after the time of purchase shall govern.
SECTION 2 – SHIPPING RATES
Standard Shipping
Standard shipping is a flat rate of $6.99 and is available on all domestic orders within the United States.
Free Shipping
I offer free standard shipping on all orders of $65.00 or more (after any discounts are applied, before taxes). Free shipping is applied automatically at checkout when the qualifying order total is met. Free shipping applies to standard delivery within the contiguous United States only.
Express Shipping
Express shipping is available at a flat rate of $16.99. Selecting express shipping reduces transit time only — it does not reduce or waive the standard processing period. Your order must still be fully processed and prepared before it is handed off to the carrier.
SECTION 3 – ESTIMATED TRANSIT TIME
Once your order has been processed and handed off to the carrier, estimated transit times are as follows:
- Standard Shipping: 3–8 business days
- Express Shipping: 1–2 business days
All transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. I am not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, holidays, or other events outside of my control. Total delivery time = processing time + transit time.
SECTION 4 – ORDER TRACKING
Where tracking is available, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package once your order has shipped. It may take up to 24–48 hours after shipment for tracking information to update in the carrier's system. Not all shipping methods or carriers provide tracking, and tracking availability is not guaranteed.
You are responsible for monitoring your tracking information once it has been provided. I am not liable for packages that are marked as delivered by the carrier but reported as missing. In the event of a delivery discrepancy, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.
SECTION 5 – LOCAL DELIVERY
Local delivery is available for addresses within a 3 mile radius of downtown Chicago. If you are eligible, the local delivery option will automatically appear at checkout when you enter your address.
Once you select local delivery, I will reach out to you directly to arrange a delivery window. Local delivery is subject to my availability, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. If we are unable to arrange a suitable delivery window, or if local delivery is otherwise not feasible for your order, I will convert your order to standard shipping at no additional cost to you. Any local delivery fee paid will be refunded in full in that event.
If you miss your scheduled delivery window, you will be invoiced for a second delivery attempt.
I reserve the right to withdraw or modify local delivery availability at any time without notice.
SECTION 6 – INCORRECT OR UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESSES
You are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of purchase. I am not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or undeliverable due to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided at checkout.
If you realize you have submitted an incorrect address, please contact me immediately at frenchiexfemme@gmail.com. I will do my best to update your address before your label is printed and your order is packaged and ready to ship. Once a label has been printed and your order is prepared for shipment, address changes can no longer be accommodated and I am not responsible for packages delivered to the address provided at checkout.
If an order is physically returned to me by the carrier due to an undeliverable address, I will contact you using the information provided at checkout to arrange reshipment. Any additional shipping costs required to resend the order will be your responsibility. If you do not wish to have the order reshipped, I reserve the right to issue a partial refund of the product cost only, excluding the original shipping charge. This provision applies only to packages that are physically returned to me and does not apply to packages reported as missing or undelivered while still in the carrier's possession.
SECTION 7 – LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
I am not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the carrier has confirmed delivery. Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to you.
If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, I recommend:
- Checking with neighbors, building management, or other household members;
- Checking any safe drop locations around your property;
- Waiting 24–48 hours, as carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered prematurely;
- Contacting the carrier directly to open a missing package investigation.
If your tracking shows your package as lost or significantly delayed prior to a delivery confirmation, please file a claim with the carrier directly. I am happy to assist by providing documentation such as proof of shipment to support your claim. Contact me at frenchiexfemme@gmail.com for assistance.
SECTION 8 – DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
I am not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping and handling by the carrier. Once a package has been accepted by the carrier, responsibility for its safe delivery transfers to them. Standard shipments include carrier coverage of up to $100.00 for damaged packages.
If your order arrives damaged due to carrier mishandling, please file a claim directly with the carrier. I am happy to assist by providing documentation such as proof of shipment or packaging photos to support your claim. Contact me at frenchiexfemme@gmail.com for assistance. Damage caused by mishandling after delivery is not covered.
SECTION 9 – HOLIDAYS & HIGH-VOLUME PERIODS
During peak shopping periods, holidays, or special collection launches, processing and shipping times may be extended beyond the standard window. I recommend placing orders well in advance if you have a specific date by which you need your order. I am not responsible for carrier delays during holiday periods.
